{"id":17,"date":"2013-12-30T00:16:19","date_gmt":"2013-12-30T00:16:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.drvoils.com\/?page_id=17"},"modified":"2023-08-24T14:02:40","modified_gmt":"2023-08-24T14:02:40","slug":"privacy-policy","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.drvoils.com\/?page_id=17","title":{"rendered":"Privacy Policy"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"text\">\n<p>The law protects the relationship between a client and a psychotherapist, and information cannot be disclosed without written permission.<br \/>\nExceptions include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Suspected child abuse or dependent adult or elder abuse, for which I am required by law to report this to the appropriate authorities immediately.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>If a client is threatening serious bodily harm to another person\/s, I must notify the police and inform the intended victim.<\/li>\n<li>If a client intends to harm himself or herself, I will make every effort to enlist their cooperation in insuring their safety.
